THOUGHTFUL GROOMING. DESIGNED TO PREFORM

Penn Barber Company isn’t built on nostalgia or trends. It’s built on haircuts that actually work.

Founded by Anthony Mankoski, a nationally recognized haircutter with over 20 years of experience, the studio was created for people who expect more from the way they show up.

His background spans private clubs, high-end salons, and modern barbering spaces, including The Duquesne Club and MSTR Grooming, along with work inside some of the most respected salons in Western Pennsylvania. In 2015, he was selected for the national haircutting team at Goldwell Haircolor, recognition reserved for some of the most technically accomplished stylists in the country.

Today, that experience is distilled into a private, single-chair studio inside the Omni William Penn Hotel in Downtown Pittsburgh, where the focus is simple: do the work right, and make it last.

CUT WITH INTENT. BUILT FOR REAL LIFE.

Every haircut is approached with structure, balance, and longevity in mind.

Anthony’s movement-based cutting system works with the natural behavior of the hair—its growth patterns, weight, and flow—so the shape holds and the grow-out stays clean.

"Anyone can make it look good in the chair. I make sure it works when you get home."

The result is grooming that feels effortless, but is anything but accidental.

PRIVATE. FOCUSED. UNCOMPROMISING.

Penn Barber Company operates as a single-chair studio—quiet, controlled, and built around the individual.

There’s no rotation of staff. No distractions. Just one barber, working with intention.

The clientele reflects it: downtown professionals, business travelers, and a steady rotation of people who work in the air, on the road, and on stage. It’s the kind of chair that draws a certain crowd. Many make it a point to return whenever they’re back in town.

Appointments are unrushed. The environment is discreet. The standard is consistent.

People who could sit anywhere tend to sit here.
